Training is an important aspect of photography, there is so much to learn and with technology continually evolving, training helps to strengthen and improve valuable skills.
I recently joined Nina Mace for a 1-2-1 training day, Nina is an incredible photographer who I truly admire. Her bold and vibrant images really capture the character of the child. Nina has been named top 3 professional trainers in the UK by SWPP and has been featured in international publications and children’s photography competitions. Nina has been named Top Children’s Photographer of the Year by the Guild of Professional Photographers.
Our day started with a relaxed chat, a chance for me to ask many of the questions I had brought along. We then travelled to a local park to meet the lovely family who were modelling for my training session. Before the family arrived we scouted out locations and discussed lighting and camera techniques. With the family we moved around to the different locations and Nina really helped me to get the best out of my images using some new tips and techniques.
Here are a few images of Nina on the day:
After working with the family we headed back to discuss more business practices, tips and another chance for me to ask all the burning questions – I had a good few pages!
Nina really helped me understand my business and I learned some valuable techniques for photographing children and families. I would highly recommend Nina if you would like photography training.
