I love the colours which arrive with autumn, the rich reds, golds and browns making a truly stunning display. As you may be aware I really enjoy working with our ‘Great British Outdoors’ and following the seasons as they unfold throughout the year. Autumn is a really popular time for family and child outdoor portrait photography. I love taking pictures of children playing with the fallen leaves and wrapped up in warm cosy jumpers and hats.

A few tips for choosing an outfit
- You don’t have to wear exactly the same colours, mix it up with a different tones and variations of a colour.
- Try to wear plain clothing or very simple patterns nothing to busy and ideally no logos or loud prints.
I hope this helps you to prepare for an autumn family or child or portrait session. Gloucestershire is such a beautiful location for portraits surrounded with such stunning countryside and incorporating the scenic Cotswolds, I feel so lucky to work here.
